Princess Luna wearing Celestia's attire. Coup, inheritance, whatever the reason as to why she is wearing it is up to the viewer.

Artist's note:

-I spent too much time herp derping on the picture, lol.
-Failed at shading personally when I was coloring Luna, though I think I did okay on the hair since its easy to do. xD
-Ghetto towers in the back, don't mind them. lol
-7 hours on this, wow. :I
-I hate the lighting I used on Luna, got lazy, didn't fix.
-The light source was originally going to be in front ofLuna, but that changed when I couldn't figure out how to get the "sunset" colors to work, so I changed it. The light source appears to be like, 5 different directoins now. lol

I think Luna loves her sister too much these days to stage a coup, but perhaps Celestia had to go on an extended undercover mission and left her regalia for Luna. Whether Luna will develop delusions of grandeur now and whether she'll hand them back without putting up a fight when Celestia returns remains to be seen, though. :)

Or perhaps it's just opposites day, and the sisters decided to take on each other's duties for a day!

I was going to close this since the facial scaling isn't what I'm looking for, but then I noticed the wing's detail, which is awesome enough for me to have to leave a comment. I also really like her mane (read in Sweetie Belle's voice?); a lot of people on this site don't seem to do it like this, which I think is how it's supposed to be. It's like a window into the cosmos behind her, straight through the planet and it's atmosphere that would otherwise block our view. I also like the lines of detail on the irises of her eyes. I'd say what about the shape of her face I'd like different, but for it's own style it's well done, so well done in fact that I can't honestly say why I don't prefer it... Maybe it's just getting too late for me to think XD
