Just a chill picture, I was bored, didn't know what to draw. Philomena was started with about 6-7 layers, eventually merged down to one. The background was all done on one layer, half-flanked it because it was just a "whatever I'm messing around" kind of pieces.

But yeah, Philomena, signpost to Ponyville, horribly done background.

:D

P.S., lighting is hard to do, I could've done it better but eh. lol

I was bored, didn't know what to draw, doodled Philomena, wanted to try to color her, then I wanted to add a background, and the only background I could think of that contrasted well with Philomena's red was a forest. Also I was experimenting with single-layer painting(for the background) as well as lighting (more or less. XD)

OMG that looks like a scene from Borderlands 2,WARNING VIDEO GAME NERD ENGAGE: the "Hunting the Fire-hawk" quest... where you have to infiltrate the layer, and the Bloodshot's signs are everywhere pointing the reinforcements where to go. Favorite television series plus video game series equals Awesomeness

For some reason, I really like the feel of this picture. Really gives off an aura of "elsewhere." As in "somewhere... out there."

Also reminds me of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, for some reason.
